God's Glory In You

When God commissioned the building of His tabernacle, the workers followed His instructions to the most minute detail. When it was completed it was breathtakingly beautiful. This was God’s chosen place of worship. The people rejoiced at this great tent that became their place of worship. However, none of that beauty compared with the glory that God brought to the scene.
The cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle (Exodus 40:34).   God’s presence demonstrated that the tabernacle was no ordinary building. Though the gold, fine tapestries, and superb design were great, nothing compared to knowing God’s glory resided there in the midst of His people.

As awesome as that sounds, consider this...
God no longer dwells in temples made by human hands, rather, the Word tells us that we are he temple of God. He dwells in us. And that same glory that filled  the Tabernacle in he wilderness or later the temple... That gory resides in me and you. David Crowder sang one of my favorite songs, "He Makes Everything Glorious"... and that includes us! We have the privilege of experiencing God’s presence in our lives. We may experience times of trouble which leaves us to wonder if God feels and understands our pain. He knows and He ubderstands, for He dwells in you! He promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us. So no matter what we are walking through... He goes wth us. I don't know about you, but I find comfort and strength in knowing that wherever I go, He goes, and His glory and presence works in me and through me.
