The Choice is Yours

There are times in our lives where we want to fight with everything that is within is for something that we know is right, but we know that the fight will only make a mess of things. In those times of life, we must rest in the confident assurance that we have done the right thing, even if others choose not to. We may lose this round and we may even miss out on something great, but in the end, when we stand before the throne of God, what matters is, did we do what He asked of us. The rest is out of our control, so there is no sense in letting it build resentment and bitterness inside of us. Hard pill to swallow sometimes... but choose to do right, even if you find yourself taken advantage of for doing so.
