Book Review: "Grace" by Max Lucado

Max Lucado has outdone himself with the offering of his latest book, "Grace."  This is a must read for anyone wanting to better understand what God's grace is all about. We live in a time where grace is abused and mis-characterized, and to be honest, I was someone hesitant to read this book because of all the abuse I've seen in recent years. I was pleasantly surprised, to say the least.

Grace is a quick read, yet filled with "stuff" you will hold onto and even want to go back and read again and again. Lucado's book tells us that we should not settle for a wimpy or easy grace. Grace is far more than that. In "Grace" Lucado presents a gift from God that will literally turn your world upside down. Grace is not just covering for our sin, but God's grace calls for us to change... and that same grace empowers us to make that change.

I highly recommend this book to all... young, old or in between.... Pastor or new convert... or even someone seeking to find out more about God. This is not a college text book. In fact, some might call it "fluff" but I believe Lucado achieved exactly what he sought to do with this book.
