Stop Going to Church

"Are you going to church this week?"
"Why don't you come to my church?"
"Which church do you attend?
These questions and countless other questions and comments expose a tumor in the Body of Christ today that I believe is holding the Church back, keeping her from becoming what God ordained for His Bride to be.
The thing is, we have got to correct our thinking of "going to" church and realize, that God has called us to BE the Church!
What we do in that building we call "the church" on Sunday (and other days as well) is important, but it is not the main thing God has called us to do. I believe the church is a living, breathing organism as opposed to an organization.
I believe what we do the other six days a week in the world in which we live in is by far and away more important than what we do for 2 hours on Sunday.
It is time for the Body of Christ to wake up to this fact and become what Christ has called us to be. I believe that the true church is meant to be the most powerful force on this earth.
What would happen if every person who attended a worship service somewhere on this earth yesterday, decided to touch the life of just one person this week, showing the love of God, and doing what Jesus would do if he were physically walking among us. The harsh reality is that Jesus is walking the earth, as he lives inside of every born again believer, and he is just aching for us to allow him to use our lives to continue the work that he began on this earth some 2000 years ago.

Let's stop "going to church" and let us become The Church.
The Church still needs to come together for worship, but we need to begin to act out what we have received from the Word of God in our daily lives.
Let's Be the Church, rather just Go to Church!
