The Dawghowse is a place inside the head of husband, father and Pastor Darrell Garrett. It's the place where the real me lurks.
Be forewarned: It's probably not what you expect. Sometimes it's a serious place... sometimes it's not. Sometimes my thoughts are deep... and sometimes they are just plain weird.

Don't Forget!!!
It's time to set those clocks forward one hour on Saturday night!
We don't want everyone showing up for church an hour late now... do we?
I'd go with the last one. Sounds as good as any. Although, my brother-in-law actually had someone call on Saturday to say they wouldn't be at church Sunday morning because their cat was trying to cough up a hairball and they needed to be there to "catch it". EEWWWWW!
No, that would make you an hour late. At 10:00 AM your clock would still say 9:00. The amazing thing in that in the fall, when we set clocks back an hour, this would be true, yet I usually have people call and tell me that they missed church because they forgot to set their clocks. This last year we did have a family visit our church who forgot to set their clocks and they showed up an hour early. They got mad and were leaving, thinking only two families had come to church, but as they were leaving, they met another family coming in and they told them that they were an hour early.

If we forget to turn the clock ahead one hour ...wouldn't we show up for church early? Just asking....
