Okay, those of you that know me know that I am a baseball freak and a die hard Cardinals fan. So of course I am an Albert Pujols fan. But I want to give you a reason to be a Pujo (as I call him) fan too.
Pujo is not just a great baseball player, he is a great guy. He is a devoted husband and father and is a born again Christian who is not bashful at all about his faith in Christ. At the Cardinal home games, each player selects a piece of music to be played as he comes to the plate.
Albert has always had Christian music, usually something from Salvador which is one of his favorite groups. In a day and age where it is not uncommon to hear a ball player or an actor rattle off thanks to God almost like it is the expected thing to say, and then go out and drink and live like the devil, this man walks the walk.
If you don't know it, Pujols and his wife have a child with Downs Syndrome. Actually his wife already had this child when he met her, but he married her and adopted this little girl as his own, which says a lot about the man's heart, at least to me. Anyway, they have a website set up that I wanted to share with you. It is for a great cause, should you want to donate, but I especially wanted to point out this website to ask you to read the section "Our Faith". I want you to understand that when this man hits a home run and looks to the sky and says "thank you Jesus", he means it.

Oh c'mon, I like Salvador. You're killing me here.
It's always refreshing to see someone in limelight like that that walks the talk. That says a lot in a world where media has created celebrities and not heros. This is someone to look up to.
