"Keep Your Eyes Upon the Eastern Sky"

There's an old song that was popular when I was young entitled, "Redemption Draweth Nigh." I share the words here:

Years of time have come and gone
Since I first heard it told
How Jesus would come again someday
If back then it seemed so real
Then I just can’t help but feel
How much closer His coming is today

Signs of the times are everywhere
There’s a brand new feeling in the air
Keep your eyes upon the eastern sky
Lift up your head redemption draweth nigh

Early this morning, I found myself singing this song. I've heard it said that Jesus is coming soon as long as I can remember. Some would take that as a negative, but I embrace the words of the song, "If back then it seemed so real, then I just can't help but feel how much closer His coming is today."  The signs are everywhere. If you know scripture, you see them. Some have becomes so calloused and cold that they no longer believe and they have mocked me as I have shared items in the news that pointed to Biblical prophecy and Jesus' soon return. 

Last night a friend shared this video with me that SHOULD BE an eye-opener and wake-up call to the church. I've shared it on Facebook and since then I've had several people message me saying that it scares them. If you are a child of God, this is not a time to be afraid! This should be good news and serve as a rallying call to get busy telling others that Jesus is coming soon!
