God's Blessing Is What Matters!

I ran into someone this morning that I had not seen in years. She attends another church in Galesburg but had visited where I used to pastor a few times for special events. She commented that she had only recently learned that I'd left the church here as well as the Church of God. She asked me some questions about it all and explained how it came about and that it was actually not my desire to leave the denomination, but that I was given an ultimatum of leaving the church or leaving the COG. She just shook her head. She told me that since learning of the move she had Googled us and had seen what God was doing in our church and she said to me, "I believe you chose wisely. It's much better to have the blessing of God than the approval of a man." Sums it up very well indeed sis!
