A Quick Update
I don't have much time to write a lot, but wanted to keep myself accountable. This last week was slower, but still I lost 1 pound, which puts my total weight loss at 14.5 pounds in 4 weeks. I'm extremely pleased with this. I was hoping to lose half that the first month. I do realize that it will be much slower going from this point on, but I'm fine with that. My original goal was to lose 15 pound by July 1, so I think I've got that under control and think that losing 20 pounds by July is well within my range. My goal was to lose 25 by the end of the year, but I'm thinking I am going to try for 30 pounds which would put me at the lightest weight I've been in more than 25 years. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing, and now that I've got some of the weight off, start increasing my physical activity and see where this takes me.
